Everyday Life

As a mixed use community, RidgeGate is designed to make your life smarter, easier, and more fun.

You can take care of most of your daily shopping and dining needs without leaving the RidgeGate community. Currently there are nine restaurants feeding the community, with more to come. Retail stores in RidgeGate Commons and Lincoln Commons districts include big box retailers like Cabela’s and Target, as well as local merchants like Sprouts Farmers Market, Chateau Liquors and Runners Roost. Monk & Mongoose Gourmet Coffee and Starbucks for your morning Joe. And just beyond the RidgeGate community boundaries you’ll find premier shopping and dining in Park Meadows Mall and throughout the city of Lone Tree. See more retail and dining featured in our Community Directory.

Riverstone Academy in RidgeGate is a highly acclaimed pre-K school offering early childhood education for our youngest residents. The community does not currently have any K-12 schools located on-site. Lone Tree Elementary School is just across the street from RidgeGate. However, Douglas County Public Schools in Lone Tree are consistently among the highest rated public schools in the state. In fact, Lone Tree gets a GreatSchools city rating of 10 out of 10. There are private and charter schools available nearby as well.

Easy, accessible lodging for short and extended stays.

RidgeGate is home to a 106-room Hampton Inn & Suites, located at I-25 and Lincoln Avenue. This property offers free wi-fi and easy access to Sky Ridge Medical Center and Park Meadows Mall. Visitors of RidgeGate’s business community, as well as patients of Sky Ridge Medical Center and the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine, will appreciate the location and convenience of the new Marriott TownePlace Suites at RidgeGate Commons, near Cabela’s. The hotel is expected to be open in 2017. Marriott TownePlace Suites will feature extended-stay options with rooms offering kitchens and work areas, and common amenities including outdoor seating, complimentary breakfast, an indoor pool and fitness center.

The new Lone Tree Library in RidgeGate opened in summer 2016. The 25,000 square foot contemporary building seamlessly connects you to your surroundings. A lovely covered porch invites you to expand your library experience outdoors, as you relax, read and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Inside, you’ll find much more than books, music and DVD’s. Enjoy the multi-use community rooms, conference rooms, study areas, the cafe and the cozy den with a fireplace.

“RidgeGate was pleased to donate the land for this project and to welcome the new Lone Tree Library to the RidgeGate community. Its location directly across from the Lone Tree Arts Center will add vibrancy to RidgeGate’s burgeoning cultural arts district.”
Keith Simon, Executive Vice President, Coventry Development
