Working in RidgeGate
Retail, medical, hospitality, and financial services are booming industries in our community.
RidgeGate’s location in Lone Tree, Colorado is ideal for workers and employers. More than 5,000 new jobs have been created here in the last few years. Downtown Denver is a quick 30 minute light rail ride away. And you’ll also find easy access to DIA, Centennial Airport, and Park Meadows Mall. The community’s mixed-use design adds many amenities to the work environment, with more than 325,000 square feet of retail, nine restaurants, ten miles of trails, five parks, a world-class rec center, and more than 35 annual community events designed to help you celebrate the end of a successful work day.
CHARLES SCHWAB CAMPUS
The Charles Schwab campus opened in 2014, and is now home to more than 2,000 employees. In fact, Schwab is the largest private sector employer in Douglas county. The campus features 650,000 square feet of LEED-certified office space in three five-story buildings, plus a modern retail branch building. Amenities include an employee cafe and training center, and an outdoor events garden/amphitheater. Why did Schwab choose RidgeGate for their new headquarters? Access to homes and transit played a key role. RidgeGate will have three additional light rail stations as part of RTD’s southeast light rail extension project.
SKY RIDGE MEDICAL CENTER
Sky Ridge Medical Center is a full-service, destination facility and medical campus that features beautifully appointed, private patient rooms, patient and family-friendly amenities and a reputation for clinical excellence and world-class service. The campus offers comprehensive care programs, from Cardiac Care and Cancer Care to an expansive Women’s Hospital and Spine & Total Joint Center.
Sky Ridge Medial Center recently completed a $117 million expansion of their campus, which created 300 more jobs in the community. Their campus amenities also include a gym, a 1,000-space parking structure, and continuous shuttle service within the center and to light rail stations. All Sky Ridge employees receive a free RTD EcoPass.
According to Douglas County Commissioner Jill Repella, the payroll that Schwab is bringing and the spending by its workers will provide $1.5 billion of economic stimulus throughout the community.
