Schweiger Ranch

Schweiger Ranch

Gather up the kids and head over to Lone Tree historic treasure, Schweiger Ranch, a restored homestead nestled on 38-acres that takes us back to when the pioneers settled here in the late 1800s. Today, the Schweiger Ranch is protected as an historic landmark by Douglas County. The restoration of the ranch house and buildings is now complete, thanks to grants from the Colorado State Historic Fund, the City of Lone Tree, the Rampart Range Metropolitan District and Douglas County. Ongoing preservation projects benefit from your generous support. Donation information is below.

The ranch is regularly open to the public for guided and self-guided tours. Check schweigerranch.org for the latest hours. Schweiger Ranch is also available for rental for private events, community activities and festivals, and available to schedule for other uses, such as photography sessions and individual/family portraits. RidgeGate hosts seasonal events at the Ranch, including an annual Fall Festival and signature Austrian Christmas event with authentic Christkindl market, and storytelling events around the campfire. For more information, contact the ranch at 303-790-0557. Questions? Email info@schweigerranch.org. Visit http://www.schweigerranch.org and follow Schweiger Ranch on Facebook for the latest.
