Each year, RidgeGate teams up with the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District to provide free, guided nature hikes throughout the spring, summer and fall. These hikes are led by professional naturalists from SSPRD, and offer insight and education into the natural ecosystems within the open space at RidgeGate, while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise. Hikes are free to the public, but registration is required. Please register below!

Oh, Deer! How Deer Impact the Landscape

Explore the deer intersection where different species cross paths. Learn about different deer species whose ranges overlap in Colorado and how to identify them. Find preferred deer habitat as well as signs of deer including tracks, scat, and more.

Bring along your friends and family to this approximately 1-mile summer hike. Kids are welcome, ages 5+ recommended. Please register below.
